Thank you for stopping by!

✍️ TL;DR

I’m Ujjwal, and I am a senior at San Jose State University pursuing a bachelors in computer science and a minor in mathematics. I plan on graduating in May 2023.

Here is my latest work. It is a research project that proposes a permission-less IoT data sharing network implemented on Ethereum. I have been working on it since June 2022, and I am hoping to submit it to this academic journal soon.

👦 My story so far:

I fell in love with building software in high school. I’ve worked on projects ranging from static bootstrap websites to self-driving robots in FRC. When I got to college, I didn’t know what area of software I wanted to specialize in.

I always found cryptocurrencies to be interesting, but I was not willing to fully commit just yet. I bought some ETH and Bitcoin. I also tried a few projects: I bought an ENS domain(ujj.eth), messed around with some DeFi protocols(Curve, MakerDAO), and also bought an NFT(Coodles). Nothing too spectacular. I ended up losing more money than I made 🥲.

In Spring 2022, I took a cybersecurity and mathematical cryptography class to deeply grasp the fundamentals of blockchain technology. When I examined the math and computer science behind blockchain technology myself, my curiosity increased. I knew I had to spend Summer 2022 learning about blockchain.

Last summer, I was fortunate enough to participate in a blockchain research program. I worked on a permission-less IoT data sharing network and implemented it on Ethereum. I absolutely loved it.
